Porsche 1972 911 T Targa

Project Description

The 1972 Porsche 911 T Targa

Currently running a 2.2L motor on triple-throat Weber carbs after what can only be described as a catastrophic failure in the 2.0L (in fairness caused by owner error). This car makes a great sound and it has to be said not much can beat the open-air Targa experience on a sunny day. It has benefited from a completely new front suspension pan, rebuilt motor, rebuilt carbs and a host of other upgrades. Definitely a keeper.

The motor was built at Bruch Motorwerks, former shop of Tom Bruch, a holder of a number of land-speed records in Bonneville air-cooled classes dating back to 1967.
